CFC was introduced to South Australia in September 1992 by Leo and Bernadette Henderson. Inspired by the mission and charitable initiatives of CFC, Leo and Bernadette promoted the works of CFC to various groups in Adelaide. The first Christian Life Program was held in Adelaide under the guidance and supervision of Lorie Estera and Dennis Reyes. The CLP was attended predominantly by the Italians until it spread all across the different community groups in Adelaide.
Despite of the many challenges of CFC South Australia, the community has remained strong and steadfast. CFC SA currently and actively serves 6 churches from Bordertown to Port Wakefield. CFC is recognised as a vital supporter of parish initiatives and other civic movement.
